+ A valid passport and a visa are obligatory, you can obtain it with the consulate of the Cape Vert in your country of origin. (It can be also obtained at the time of your arrival in the archipelago)

+ No vaccines is obligatory.

+ The currency: 1€ = 110 escudos, all the establishments accept euros. Some make the exchange for 100esc, it is thus preferable to change it at the bank.

The language: The capverdiens speak Kriolu, however the official language is Portuguese. It's easy to render comprehensible itself because the majority of the islanders speak several languages including the Spanish, Italian, English and French.

Climate: hot season: of at the end of August at October; Average temperature of 25°c, therefore light clothing all the year.

Credit card: the hotel accepts the Visa card. The Majority of the trade do not accept it.
